Salon Annelize is a boutique hairdresser located in Mostertsdrift, Stellenbosch. The owner, Annelize Wolvaardt, established the salon in 2020, offering her customers the best service possible at affordable prices. She specializes in both men and ladies hair. Her clients include adults, students and children.
Annelize has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has gained international exposure working for various salons in South Africa as well as abroad. She also does make-up for special occasions, including bridal and matric farewell occasions as well as make-up for photo shoots.

Get to know Annelize
Annelize began her hairdressing training in 1995, earning her National Certificate in Stellenbosch in 1998. She furthered her expertise with various certifications, including a Wella Specialist Diploma for long hair in 2003 and a LA Make-up Certificate in Make-up Artistry in 2004. She also completed a Module 3 degree in Make-up Artistry in 2006.
During her time in Ireland from 2002 to 2011, Annelize worked at multiple salons and collaborated with renowned stylist Liza Fitzpatrick. She had the opportunity to style Miss Ireland, Rosanna Davidson, who later became Miss World in 2003. Annelize also served as a hair and make-up stylist for various shoots, fashion shows, and performances.
From 2011 to 2016, Annelize worked at a salon in Stellenbosch while continuing her work as a stylist. She styled television appearances for South African show Pasella with former Miss South Africa Cindy Nell.
In 2016, Annelize returned to Ireland to gain more international experience. Throughout her career, she worked with numerous celebrities, including Pierce Brosnan, Westlife, U2, and top models and TV presenters.
After her return to Stellenbosch in 2019, Annelize worked at a local salon before establishing Salon Annelize in 2020. She has collaborated with notable individuals such as Cindy Nell, Amy Kleinhans, Marianne Fassler, and Michelle van Breda.
